Forward Deployed AI Engineer

The Role

As our founding Forward Deployed Engineer at Helvetii, you'll be at the front lines with our customers, deploying and tuning our systems in real-world environments. You'll bridge the gap between our core engineering team and the unique, complex needs of our enterprise users.

This isn't just a support role. You will build out the foundation of how this organization grows. Expect to wear many hats: building integrations, debugging gnarly edge cases, optimizing deployment pipelines, and shipping features that materially improve the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical deployment of Helvetii's AI platform for major enterprise clients.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in customer environments (on-premise and private cloud).
• Develop custom integrations and data connectors to fit client workflows.
• Feedback critical insights to the core product team to shape the roadmap.
• Establish best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to debug complex distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy for customer problems.
• A 'whatever it takes' attitude to solve hard problems.
• Fluency in English (German or French is a plus).
